Homeless and alone. Natasha Palmer searches for her brother, but what she finds is hopeless fear. He helps where he can and dreams of a different kind of life for all of them. What he finds is a red-haired angel playing house with another woman's baby. With a dream of a future that involves hard work, sweat, and tears, he leads a group of homeless people to an abandoned ghost town his brother loved as a child.
