Multiple locks on every entrance and exit. Night patrol. And it's exactly where Jason Connors is going this year: a boarding school in the middle of nowhere, whose brochure makes it sound more like a prison than a place of learning. When he gets there, he immediately makes new, if a little strange, friends. The food is great, the classes are as good as they get, and the teachers are nice enough. He actually begins thinking maybe the place isn't too bad... Until he overhears his friends talking and has to uncover the secret of Easthaven.
