A Christmas Carol was first published by London?s Chapman & Hall on December 19, 1843. The story tells of vinegary and parsimonious Ebenezer Scrooge's transformation resulting from ghostly visits from his deceased partner, Jacob Marley, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. This book is dedicated to the men and women of the armed forces who preserve, protect and defend this great nation. Proceeds from the sale of this book are donated to help fund Wounded Warrior programs at locations such as Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.
