Papa's Living Room: Wisdom & Encouragement for Your Journey

Publisher Marketing: Papa's Living Room began years ago when I first started personally talking with and listening to the Lord. I remembered hearing from a teacher about the importance of journaling what the Lord shares with us. I would often ask the Lord questions about life, circumstances, situations, and things that were on His heart. I would also ask Him about the plans He had in mind for me. He would answer me in His gentle, loving, and nurturing voice. His answers were so full of wisdom, yet oftentimes so simple a child could understand it. I didn't want to forget what He was saying, so from that day forward I began to journal. I really enjoyed meeting with Him in beautiful, quiet and comforting places, since life can so easily become full of distractions and sudden changes, leaving you in the unknown. I loved laying outside in nature on a warm summer day or inside by a fireplace on a cold winter day. I would still myself and just listen, doing my best to let go of life's worries, and begin singing songs of worship to Him in my heart, shifting my focus from the fear of things I couldn't control to thanking Him for His many blessings and His faithful nature. I would simply wait and oftentimes feel His presence show up, which is always so comforting and reassuring. Then we would begin to talk.
