The kids of The Olly Wood Gang are loveable rogues, at least to their mothers. In 1963, they come across something dangerous not only to themselves, but also to all the local population ... and then two MI5 men turn up and ask them to help sort out the problem. The boys create havoc, humour, fun and adventure and they are never sure who is on their side. Certainly the local police sergeant is not - he thinks they are guilty of everything from the theft of the vicar's bicycle (which they only borrowed) to the Great Train Robbery.
