LEE THOMAS a street racer, and his best friend RON CARTER, watch police officer JIM WALT shoot a traffic violator. Afraid of retaliation by crooked cops, both men hide their knowledge of the violent crime. After Lee and Ron win a drag race against the ?Lucky Seven? hot rod gang, they are attacked and forced to defend themselves. Lee is accused of attempted murder and sentenced to the county work farm where Jim Walt is an overseer. Fellow inmate BUCK TABS?, a Lucky Seven gang leader is severely injured during a scuffle with Lee. He gets killed by a hit and run driver outside the locked gates after a greedy work farm doctor loses money on the fight. Lee is then accused of murdering Buck. He has to battle a shady jail system to prove his innocence and put the real killers in prison.
