This book, ON THE EDGE: The Road to Rome, is the second in a series of books that started with TRANSITIONS 1941, also available at Amazon. Both books were written compendium-style. This means you can directly access subjects according to the Table of Contents. The book itself is a Political science, economic, social-philosophy book. It is written in conversation-style as if we were talking to one another. My back ground is in political-science and public administration at Rio Hondo College (in Whittier, California) and California Polytechnic University (in Pomona, California). This book has been a pleasure to write and I hope that the reader will enjoy what I have put down in print. My other hope is that what I have written will be of help understanding where our country is at and where it needs to go.
