The SAO PAULO and her sister-ship, the MINAS GERAIS, gave Brazil the most powerful navy in South America in the early 20th century. The SAO PAULO vanished while being towed to the scrapyard back in Britain in1951. The story is a fictional account on how and why she disappeared.
