Skunky Dory is a heartwarming tale about an adorable young skunk whose fur pattern is a bit unusual, for it is reversed. She is white with a black stripe! One night, Dory is teased by her peers and consequently sets off into the world to make new friends. As she meets other animals from around the world, Dory learns from them what is really important: It is what we do in life that matter most, not our color patterns. This story was inspired by biracial children, who may at times find it challenging to identify with two different cultures.
