NAVMC DIR 3500.102---The training events in this Directive will be used to standardize unit training throughout the community, focus on Mission Essential Tasks (METs) for the community, and establish a framework for assessment of unit and individual training readiness. It includes individual training standards to be used by unit commanders and formal schools for the development of training plans, curricula, and records of training accomplished in order to establish a framework for identifying training achievements, training gaps, and objective assessments of readiness associated with the training of Marines.
