Following the events told in Pompeii: A Tale of Murder in Ancient Rome In the aftermath of the earthquake, rumors swirl that a woman thought to have been killed by the disaster was seen alive hours after the last aftershock. Marcellus stumbles across a dead man's body, drawing him into a new mystery. A strange fresco depicting a riot is his first clue that some secrets can?t be kept. Among Pompeii's elite, a group of conspirators turn against each other as Tay and Marcellus dig deeper and deeper into their secrets. Few involved know the whole truth; and those who do, have no intention of letting the newcomers find out what they are hiding. Tay and Marcellus find themselves in the middle of a cover-up. Grasping for the truth, it appears that the suspects may, in fact, be the victims. Tay realizes that some advice should be taken, while Marcellus discovers few secrets in Pompeii are unknown.
