Jeri Dancer, Seattle private eye, investigates the killer of a gay television station producer in a ferry parking lot. His neglected wife is accused of the murder and the murder weapon is found at the crime scene, with the wife?s fingerprints on it. It doesn?t look good for her client. A second client enters the case that adds more drama to Jeri?s life and makes the case more complicated. Jeri also gets embroiled her friends, daughter?s issues in trying to get out of the porno industry and trying to solve the death of the receptionist of her favorite employer, in the Emerald City. Through all this Jeri is trying to move herself and her partner Tess to an end that will finally make them a couple.
