Life isn't always a beach in Waves, North Carolina... Fifteen year-old Beth Rosbury has just had her life turned upside down. Her parents recently divorced and her mother decided to start fresh in Waves. Beth finds life in Waves a lot different from her hometown of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Beth quickly meets Waves resident Jeromie Greene and his friends Cara, Gayle, Jody, and Doug. Jeromie falls in love with the new girl, but Beth?s past threatens to ruin her present and her future.
