I served as a front line Australian soldier in the Korean War, the Indonesian Confrontation and the Vietnam War. This book covers the first half of a lively life which includes the periods before and between those three conflicts. This book has been claimed by some to be a ?man?s book?. This is because it it is not a tear jerker pulling on emotional strings, rather it is the interesting and amusing story of a country lad, a bush kid, who did some growing up courtesy of the Army in exotic Asian places where I learnt, I loved and I killed. Thankfully I did more loving and learning than killing. It also outlines some little known explanations regarding those three conflicts which may lift the veil of confusion caused by the news media normally offering up its information piecemeal. This will give more clarity to the reasons and results of those three wars which caused so much misery and bloodshed. Apart from the wars, but also an integral part of my life, is a chapter on how, during my lifetime, Australia as well as other countries including the USA, was stealthily stolen and sold from under us as a people by politicians. Also, how some mega-corporations and government departments have become the new enemy of the people, to the point where we are all fighting for our very health and wellbeing. This book is about the realities of life which includes as much humour as horror, which altogether makes for a wild ride.
