Imprisoned is a true story, based on a woman's survival as she fights for freedom from sexual abuse. Deena, the main character, describes her constant battle with trials such as depression and insecurity, that keep her imprisoned. Held captive by her own thoughts, Deena condemns herself for the uncontrollable circumstances that have happened in her life. Although her path to self-discovery is entrapped with distress, denial, and deceit, Deena Grace continues to compromise her heart, in exchange for Love from someone else. As the wounded hearted pleas for atonement and breaks free from the confinement and captivity that she placed herself in, she is finally able to fight the battle and make her last appeal to God.
