Stainstone is a typical English market town. It boasts a very fine Parish Church dating back to the 13th Centuryand a weekly market with a charter granted nearly as long ago. It has all the usual public buildings. Library, Town Hall, Museum etc., and the inhabitants are like those you will find anywhere in the country. At least most of them are!!!
