Happy Stories for my Circle of Friends is a collection of delightful poems and short stories for children. The content is presented in English and Spanish. The artwork that appears in this book was illustrated by the precious children of Círculo Andante ? Youth with a Mission, Tijuana, Mexico. Círculo Andante, or the Walking Circle, is a children?s ministry through YWAM San Diego/Baja in northern Mexico. Their vision is to promote well-rounded children through Christ-centered academic education. This ministry helps children strengthen their academic skills in a safe and loving learning environment. Their desire is to motivate the children to stay in school, to teach them that they are intelligent and valued in the eyes of God. In the spirit of expanding and deepening their mission, Círculo Andante is developing a mobile library program in Mexican communities where the average child does not have a single reading book at their house. This library program will provide a large selection of literature to the eager young minds of this ministry. The funds that are raised through the sale of this book will go directly to purchase and outfit the mobile library trailers, as well as expand the reading material that is offered in this library.
