Truths come in whispers in our illusory reality

This collection of verses again deals with the issues the poet is most concerned about, such as injustice in capitalist society, romantic feelings and sorting out stuff in the brain. The last is especially lucid in this collection as the poet meditates on the reasons for evil thoughts, knowledge versus ignorance (including our sense of self-identity), as well as the difficulty in letting go of the ideas in our heads. This feeds into the even more pervasive theme of everything we cling to being an illusion and it is therefore futile for us to try and escape from this nature of our human existence. Most of such inevitability and emptiness being wryly observed as a "carousel" that "goes round and round" and peppered with flashes of humour as with the poet's usual style, this collection is another thought-provoking product of his intelligence. As he asks, "You aren't given, you aren't giving;/ what's the sense in all this living" we are invited to join his meditations into the purpose of our beings; if there is meant to be some, of course.
