Ruach in the Psalms: a Pneumatogical Understanding
Rev. Vince Mclaughlin
This book seeks to explore the pneumatological signifi cance of the use of the Hebrew term, (ruah - spirit) in the book of Psalms. It will compare and contrast the use of as it relates to a basic understanding of (ruah qodeshkha - literally, your spirit of holiness) in Psalm 33:6; 51:10 - 13; 104:30; 139:7 - 12; and 143:10. David in his personal communion with God was the fi rst to reveal the activity of the Holy Spirit as indwelling and guiding the believer even with a possible expansion of the idea of regeneration in the Old Testament. This book concludes that a manifestation of the person and work of the Holy Spirit appears to occur within the fi ve targeted passages.
