The first half of this book is a fiction story telling of a strong friendship between Anna, a blue-eyed blond headed girl that was born and raised in Africa. To what extent would you go to find a true friend? Anna lived near Sunamite, one of 12 African children. Sunamite's name was change to Ebony when she reached South Carolina.
