This book contains two short stories. The Parafin Glove and The Dark Genius. Both stories are mysteries. In the first story the two detectives trying to find a killer have no clues and then get their first break. Then an incident brings the detectives even closer to catching their suspect. Then the two detectives get another break that leads them to their suspect but something stands in their way. In the second story, one of the detectives could be in serious danger by someone close to them. The detective is at one point faced with a horrible reality. After one of the detectives is forced to face a horrible experience, I take the series in a new direction because "Some Changes Are Necessary."
