Matthew 7:6 "Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces." Fourteen-year-old pastor's son, Chase Ricks, thinks he has a firm grasp on this lesson. His cold judgement of those he deems to be the dogs that he shouldn't bother with leads him into an unimaginable situation in which he finds himself with blood on his hands. Running away from his family and from God, Chase seeks to hide from his sin, but it haunts him at every step as he tries to survive on the streets. In a constant struggle against violence and hunger, can Chase bring himself to accept the forgiveness that Jesus has purchased for everyone, even him?
