It is the pilgrimage of one woman who made a difference in the lives of thousands of women and children both in Africa and the Caribbean. Struggling against the color and gender prejudices and discrimination in the Baptist churches and Mission Boards of that time, undeterred she witnessed to her faith and with her husband William left behind an enviable record of Christian commitment which has rarely been equaled and yet has not been adequately acknowledged.
