Anne Kinsman is a large woman. Creating clothing has been her sport of choice since she was a toddler. And creating clothing turned into a career. Anne heads her own fashion house, a company which serves only large women. As she begins telling her story, she is thirty-six years old and a virgin. That condition is not because she is a large woman, but because she refuses to have any sexual events until she is married. After all, she was born in 1946 when virginity was not yet a joke. She tells her own story and she's good at it, most often able to stand back and be honest. However, there are facts yet unknown. The catalyst arrives in the person of one Barry Goldfadden. Barry has everything except the white horse, but their meeting made Anne feel that as if he indeed rode up on one . He is the catalyst that begins the revelations. Albert Camus wrote: "A taste for truth is a passion which spares nothing." And, at last, nothing is spared as we watch the Kinsman family, their tapestry of upper middle class correctness falling apart.
