Victor Wayne and Shirley Siegal are 14 year old Von Steuben high school freshmen, living in the predominately Jewish neighborhood of Chicago's Albany Park, in 1945. Follow the twists and turns of their lives in the 1940's, 50's and into the 90's as they take you through the familiar Chicago and Florida locations. Though "Albany Park" is a work of fiction, it is based on many actual events as it describes lifestyles of the characters and the era.
