In his Little Blue Christian Essays, Kwasi Yeboah-Afihene achieves a rare feat--he casts the message of his essays in a style that combines a sense of the erudite with a sense of the quiet spirit within. The reader is well-served by the format of this ?little blue? book, which allows either continuous reading or more discrete samplings. I found that I preferred the latter since that method provides time for reflection on the variety of ideas and insights contained therein. Mr. Yeboah-Afihene is clearly a man of deep faith; his outlook on life has been shaped by his connection with the holy. The reader will leave the book much enriched by these grace-filled selections. Hopefully, a volume II will follow. "Each chapter is steeped in spirituality that made my spirit soar ? yet immersed with threads of realism that keep one?s feet grounded.
