Contributor Bio:  Shaw, Jason Jason Shaw was born and brought up in a sleepy Surrey village during his childhood he dreamt of being an astronaut, a fighter pilot and a chief cake tester for a bakery. With cake tester position in short supply and impaired vision putting a halt to those loftier ambitions, Jason settled on a career in the travel industry which afforded him the ability to indulge of another great passion - travelling. Thanks to various positions with travel organizers, agents and airlines Jason got to visit more than thirty countries and travel around the world. Following a redundancy and a chance encounter during the early 1990's Jason secured a job with a local radio station and thus a career in media began. He went on to produce and present a number of radio shows and programmes for a number of local radio stations in the UK as well as hosting a series of video travel brochures and corporate films. It was whilst working in the radio industry than Jason was asked to write an article for a local newspaper in Essex and then a regular column. It was this start with the written word that ignited a fire of desire that had always burned somewhere deep within Jason's mind and since then he has written countless articles, features, news stories and columns for various on and off line publications and in 2012 produced his first non-fiction book - The Top 50 Most Influential Gay Movies of All Time.
