reproductive health and rights, an event that many women have experienced gets left out: miscarriage. Many women have at some point in their reproductive life experienced a miscarriage. This can have profound effects, but does not generally get discussed. This book explores the experience of miscarriage through the voice of women within the involuntary pregnancy loss community. Literature, demographics, scientific findings, interviews, and a comparison between experiences are integrated into an ethnographic analysis in an effort to better understand the perceived silence and stigma around pregnancy loss before twenty weeks.
