A mafia Capo has a contract on his life. Plans are made for a bullion heist to secure his financial future. He flees Italy with the gold aboard a chartered motorsailer bound for Argentina. An English businessman hears of the heist. He determines to relieve the perpetrator of his gains, in order to finance a planned coup in Africa. Passengers aboard the motorsailer are unaware of its secret cargo, as they embark at Genoa. Fast moving, the reader is taken on this ill-fated voyage from one continent to another. Culminating in Africa; mixed agenda's, culture and superstition are intertwined with events. The bullion causes a trail of greed, power lust, corruption, death, bravery and benevolence.
