After the Tom Sawyer adventure, as told by Clemens, Huck is driven to avenge the death of a friend whom he feels responsible for, at the hands of a werewolf. Undertaking this vengeance leads to Huck and Tom?s training with an experienced Indian werewolf hunter, and Huck?s hazardous trek down the Mississippi River of the 1830?s. A boy in his mid teens, forced to flee his home alone, scouring the county side to find and kill ruthless werewolves, while aiding a runaway slave, and facing all manner of human conflict along the way.
