Being Anne Hooper: Moving to Jamaica
Anne Palmer
Anne Hooper is a typical eleven years old girl, born to Jamaican parents in a foreign country. While growing up she would recall her parents telling stories about their homeland and their enjoyable childhood. These stories were amazing but Anne hoped that one day she would be able to have her own experiences to share too. Her dreams were realised when her family decided to live in Jamaica for three years. There she experienced the highs and lows of living in a rural community and most of it were not as glamourous as she had heard.
