Three and a half years ago I was diagnosed with uterine cancer. Ten years ago my husband, Carlo was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Eight years ago we lost eight family members within a one year time period. For all of the above reasons, I decided to write this book and because, as my mother has always said, there is a "flip side" to every situation. For me the flip side to all the pain has been an awareness and desire to be present in my life's ?treasured moments." My hope with this book is to create a greater awareness for the moments that matter the most in life.
