And if it is religious authorities who constantly commit pedophilia, they might be motivated to force the definition of arsenokoites to condemn homosexuals instead of themselves. Most are unaware the Bible in its original form is full of people who today we would call, homosexuals. Many of God's most faithful servants (and popular biblical characters) were gay! Granted, their circumstances were different (e.g. family obligations were priority; making families) but there is ample proof of their true sexual preference. Homosexuals were in great demand in royal courts; trusted to hold the most high offices. Some were even Generals who led God's armies to victory on the battle field!
