Gerry Kruger chronicles the true adventures of Charlie, a flightless Canada goose that arrived on her pond in 2000. Charlie's courageous battle for survival despite his disability is inspirational to those with disabilities and will appeal to animal and nature lovers of all ages. Gerry read her essays about Charlie on National Public Radio, and they became a favorite among listeners in Charlottesville, Virginia and the surrounding counties.
