EYE OF THE RABBIT ( OJO DEL CONEJO) Two sisters with an Irish American mother and a famous Mexican guitar player father, are orphaned and abandoned at the ages of eleven and fifteen With no future and little chance of surviving unless they leave the desolate town of Ojo del Conejo, they hire an old general to lead them out of the desert and to the border where they hope to gain access into America. Torn apart at the border they each face incredible danger and terror as they struggle to not only survive but also find each other. After a decade of searching, their courage and determination brings them together in a most remarkable way. This is the story of two brave women and the lives they touch over many decades.
