What is a conservative anyway? This was my mission. But unfortunately, I wouldn't find one conservative who could give me an intelligent answer. The simplest and most frequent answer they gave was "less government". But this appears to be just a stock answer they all give because they really don't know what they are. But, they have no problem telling you what they don't like or what is wrong with everything. Conservatives are solution free. They are problem finders, not problem solvers.

Conservatives thrive on the opinions of others. They have an addictive need to listen to talk radio or watch their favorite television news channel. This emotional need could qualify them for psychiatric treatment. The opinions they hear are more important than the facts. In many ways conservatism is all about opinions. So I decided to write about conservatives in a language they will understand, "opinions"
