A true story of two brothers aged 10 and 7 growing up in post war Liverpool 1950s. Victims of a broken home they set out to shake off the stigma of no hopers and jibes of 'you'll never amount to anything'. A story of hilarious mayhem which stemmed from the poverty that surrounded their young lives. A lot of the comical situations they found themselves in was not always by their own doing and not always appreciated by adults. A story of hardship and bigotry overcome by giving as much back as they were given. Two young brothers up against the system vowing never to be beaten. Forced to live in povety by the strict 'means testing' system of the period, they grew up using their imaginations and initiative to try and create a happier life, but things never work out as planned, do they ever?
