A diverse group of people is brought together when they all end up living in a new real estate development by the sea. Jen, in her early thirties, is facing the breakdown of her marriage after years of failed fertility treatments have taken their toll. And then there is Georgie, a cheeky seventeen-year- old, whose life on the surface appears to be just one big bag of lollipops; however, it`s just a projection and her indomitable spirit carries her through her less than idyllic life. Betty, a well-loved B&B landlady, has spent the best part of the past forty years with her husband Max by her side. Now, it's time to take it easy and she would if only her full-time lodger John could find someone other than his batty bird Bonanza Bill to keep him company. John, on the other hand is quite content to spend his days with his Tammy Wynette obsessed parrot. A horoscope writer by day and psychic by night, he can be remarkably inadaptable. Change, however, is around the corner forcing him to acknowledge that life and love carry no guarantees. Will he take up the challenge and choose to embrace both wholeheartedly?
