Yankee Kilroy
Jon Ankers "Yankee" Kilroy is an American poet who satirically critiques the world utilizing the most elegant use of the King's language. Often referred to as the "poet laureate of anarchy", his verse has been described as "humorous dissent that's beautifully written". This thought-provoking collection of poems addresses a large assortment of controversial topics including totalitarianism, failed government systems, media corruption, the dangers of materialism, and so much more. The diverse collection also includes uplifting poems of love and adventure that are sure to entertain all audiences. The work studies the mindsets of many psychological disorders as well, which oftentimes fester onto the page as loneliness, narcissism, and nihilism. The poems are extremely polished and showcase great wit and charm. All epic poems are comprised of ten independent poems that are eight stanzas long, those of which contain four lines in rhyme and written in perfect iambic pentameter.
