Mother's Whispers had its poetic impetus in the beautiful island of Bermuda. With the ocean as its surroundings, the poem called "The Ocean" was the first poetic piece penned for the book. Another poem entitled, "A Poem Saluting Mothers" is self-explanatory and is attributed to her mother's total support of her writing. This book infuses everyday topics of Life into poetic pieces, such as, "Homelessness Is So Common" "Ferocious Fabian"( Hurricanes), "The Cry From Within the Walls" (Prison). The flavors of Nature and its benefits are included in the poems, "Rain" "The Rhythm in Nature" and " Mornings" Turning current events into poetry has an integral part in this book, as well, e.g. "The New Face of Change"( The Obamas) In essence, this book shouts about family life and other elements which make for stimulating reading.
