The Fireflies' Christmas tells the story of a young boy named Freddy who although very poor,is kind, giving and extremely unselfish. During one extremely cold summer evening, he helps a group of firelflies by providing them with warmth and comfort. In return, they surprise him at Christmas with a wonderful present which "lights up" his holiday. It is a story about appreciating what we have and of taking care of each other. This story brings out the best in all of us and is a heart warming tale of love, kindness, and giving to others.
