Zeitoun to Temecula: My Life Journey
Rami Mina
This is the story of a Christian boy born in the pleasant Cairo suburb of Zeitoun, named for its many olive groves. It describes his childhood in the stable kingdom of Egypt followed by a revolution that led to a period of political, religious and social upheaval. His family's immigration to the United States was not motivated by the usual promise of a land of opportunity as it was to a land of freedom. This book chronicles his assimilation into American life and describes his journey from the suburb of Zeitoun to the avocado groves of Temecula, California.
