A Novel dealing with a fictional hospital for bright and creative people to protect them from the ravages of society at Large. That a gifted person or artist, no matter his field, is basically a child; but a child to intense, too idealistic, too compassionate, and finally and perhaps most importantly, to fragile to survive in the brutal outside world. The Valmy Hospital is above all, a gentle place. A Valhalla for the vexed; A Nirvana for the nervous; Olympus for the offset; and last but not least, Heaven for the helpless.
