Conceived at Woodstock

On the eve of completing a merger which could cement both her prospects at work and her relationship with her paramour, ambitious Manhattan attorney Susie Sherman discovers that she is unexpectedly pregnant. Susie has little time outside of work for anyone, least of all her mother Pamela. Susie, or Siouxette as her mother insists on calling her, is mortified by the fact that she was CONCEIVED AT WOODSTOCK. When Susie decides to keep the baby, she reassesses her life and her priorities, befriending another pregnant woman who helps acclimate Susie to her new identity as an expectant mother. When Susie's grandfather, a man who kicked out Susie's pregnant mother forty years before, passes away, Susie attends the funeral with Pamela and watches her mother struggle to reconcile with her own mother. In doing so, Susie comes away with a new appreciation for her mother's sacrifices as well as the complicated nature of relationships between mothers and daughters.
