Two brothers, approaching old, but spry and still crazy for life, recollect true stories about people, places and events from their shared happy past; while sailing a diminutive, sentient, black and crème sloop named LARKE down the blue-collar Delaware River, through the D&C Canal, south down the Chesapeake Bay and up the Northeast Branch of Harris Creek; accompanied by a bemused, rescued djinnayah offering up the usual three wishes and wry observations regarding humans and the internet; avoiding the wakes of much larger vessels and outsized winds and waves; past a benign, sheltering sea-monster ; and cheerfully arriving at metaphysical destinations that often include fish.
