From DIRTY BOOKS POLISHED CLEAN......."Why is it mom, you don't talk to any of your sisters?" my thirty-three year old, single daughter Brenda asks one day. It's a natural question, you know, one that my daughter's asked me many times before. Sure she'd be curious. Wouldn't you be! Now, you know, there are those people who say it's stupid to get involved in finance, but they're the same people who ask for handouts. I never had to ask for a handout in my life, not for myself or for Ronnie, my wife, or for my two daughters. And knock on wood, I'm now sending my daughters right through college. I had it all planned years ago. And I want you to think of this, we have a very nice house that's all paid up in the suburbs. Pretty good right! And me and Ronnie have enough money put away for our retirement even though that's still sometime away. Me and Ronnie are both in our late sixties, but we aren't going to quit our jobs. No, why should we! We like to earn pocket money......
