The Equality Laws were written and passed to ensure equality for all - under the assumption that fairness for all was to be the dawn of a new age for all nations on Earth; rather, it created a world of darkness. Jared was born into this world of darkness, and sentenced to death for violating the Equality Laws. Through the sacrifice of his father, a stranger comes to Jared's aid and takes him into a world of light. As Jared learns the truth about himself and the world, he must once again enter the world of darkness on a mission that could cost him his life - as well as everyone he has come to love.
