Steve Curry, long time Cuchara resident and a Law Enforcement Officer for the U. S. Forest Service; the President of the United States, the U. S. Secretary of State, an ex Army Ranger (who is now a troubled CIA agent), and several hundred Arab leaders convene at the Cuchara Wilderness Center. A dead Somali terrorist turns up (no longer dead), accompanied by a deadly band of trained killers. The race to uncover the deadly plot begins. Steve finds himself face-to-face with a life or death decision and he has less than one minute to decide what to do.
