In a non-specified future, Inactivated people live in a city where every thing is given to them. The story describes their struggle to leave. There are three storylines that derive from the a defeated rebellion: The odyssei under the ground. The resistance in a satellite prison orbiting the earth where some of the rebellion leaders are taken, who manage to take control of the satellite but are ejected to the outer space. The new world established by those who had fought under the ground, stormed and triumphed over the oppressors, and who are awaiting the return of the satellite.
