Growing up in a small town, Enduring Life in the great depression era. Attending Catholic school for six years and graduating from Public Hi School. Serving in U. S. army, fighting in Italy as a machine gunner, landings on the beaches of Salerno and Anzio, and spending time as a POW in Italy and Germany. Returning home, getting married, raising a family and working to build a better life.
